A Success Story A Day: John Deere & Company

Company: John Deere & Company
Location: Horicon
Founded in: 1837
What they do: The Horicon facility manufactures ATVs, lawn tractors, and golf and turf mowers.
How they’re growing: The company is returning assembly and shipping functions for their industry-leading products in-house to the Horicon facility. What they’re saying: “The John Deere Horicon Works is very excited about the opportunity to grow our business with the expansion project that has been approved and will be completed by mid-2017. This investment will allow us to further improve our ability to meet our customer’s needs and demands globally. This is the next step in our business’s 100 plus year history that has been focused on the serving our customers and meeting business challenges. The entrepreneurial spirit, skills and talents of our dedicated employees has always risen to the challenge and produced successful results. We are excited to get construction underway and we know that once in place, these changes will serve our business well for many years to come.”
