Chamber of Commerce Month

Celebrate Your Chamber in September

Each September, WMC – the state chamber – and local chambers celebrate Chamber of Commerce Month to highlight the crucial role they play in communities across the state. Wisconsin’s 265 local chambers help strengthen Wisconsin’s economy through advocacy, education and economic development. In addition, these chambers promote tourism, business-focused programming and community events on a regular basis.

How to Celebrate

In honor of the contributions local chambers make in our communities and state, Wisconsin Chamber of Commerce Executives (WCCE) proclaims September as Chamber of Commerce Month. Local chambers can work with elected officials around the state to official proclaim the celebration in their community.

Chambers commemorate Chamber of Commerce Month each year with a variety of different events, programming and campaigns. Additionally, WCCE hosts its Annual Conference & Retreat every September to provide an opportunity for local chamber executives from across Wisconsin to learn how to be a more effective community leader by developing professional skills and, ultimately, growing the local chamber.

Let’s Celebrate!

The goal of Wisconsin Chamber of Commerce Month is simple… to put your chamber in the spotlight for all you do to solve problems and promote prosperity in your community and throughout Wisconsin.

We are pleased to share a “Let’s Celebrate” toolkit just for chamber professionals to help promote and celebrate the month. To view the kit, click here.
