WMC Statement on Right to Work Decision

In response to today’s order from District 3 of the Wisconsin Court of Appeals granting a stay of Dane County Judge Foust’s decision to strike down Wisconsin’s Right to Work law, WMC Senior Vice President of Government Relations, Scott Manley, issued the following statement.
“Today’s order from the Court of Appeals upholds the rule of law and reinstates the will of the people.  A stay of Judge Foust’s misguided decision was necessary to prevent confusion in the workplace, and to ensure that workers retain the freedom of choice to which they are legally entitled under Wisconsin’s Right to Work law. We thank the Court for upholding the Constitution, and for granting relief from blatant judicial activism.”
