Kurt Bauer Touts Manufacturing Job Opportunities

A recent report from the federal reserve reveals that U.S. factory production is on the rise. Experts say manufacturing is doing well in Wisconsin, but the companies need more help. “We estimate that there are at least 40,000 unfilled manufacturing jobs in Wisconsin alone,” said Kurt Bauer, the CEO of Wisconsin Manufacturers and Commerce.

Bauer said this demand will help the economy, even as we trend toward a recession.

“We’re looking at the fact that some aspects of the economy are not great, but the employment levels are still high. That will buoy the economy,” Bauer said.

Bauer also said every manufacturing job added creates four jobs in other sectors.
