WMC Promotes Kay Kertz to Vice President

MADISON – Wisconsin Manufacturers & Commerce (WMC) – the combined state chamber, manufacturers’ association and safety council – announced on Monday that Kay Kertz has been promoted to Vice President of Finance & Human Resources.

Kertz joined WMC in 1991 as an accountant and has held numerous accounting and human resources roles during her tenure at the organization. For the last 15 years, she has managed the daily operations of WMC’s finance department.

“Kay has been an invaluable member of the WMC team for years,” said WMC President & CEO Kurt Bauer. “Her dedication to our members continues to shine through, and we are excited to have her take on this new leadership role.”

With her promotion, Kertz will join WMC’s executive leadership team and continue to oversee all aspects of the organization’s finance and human resources departments.

“For nearly three decades, I have put my heart into supporting our members,” added Kertz. “I am humbled by this promotion and look forward to continuing the great work this organization does on a daily basis.”

Kertz earned her bachelor’s degree in accounting. She is a Madison native, lives in Sun Prairie with her husband and has two adult children.
