WMC’s Scott Manley on Gas-Powered Engine Bans and More

After Gov. Evers’ Friday afternoon vetoes of legislation that would have protected consumer access to gas-powered vehicles and equipment, Scott Manley joined Meg Ellefson to discuss the importance of these protections for the state’s manufacturers and consumers. Consumers should maintain the right to purchase a gas-powered engine for their boats, snowblowers and more, regardless of local government mandates.

“I find that profoundly anti-liberty and profoundly anti-consumer,” Manley shared about the vetoes. He explained that government should not be able to dictate what citizens can buy in order to achieve an agenda.

Manley also discussed the redistricting lawsuit filed by democrats – its potential fallout, including overturning the elections of 17 state senators.
