Employees Unprepared for Wisconsin Workforce

WMC’s Rachel Ver Velde joins Meg Ellefson to discuss the results of WMC’s most recent employer survey, including the concerns about the future of Wisconsin’s workforce.

“We’ve heard from so many of our employers that they were starting to see some significant problems with their employees unable to do basic skills,” shares Ver Velde. “73% of employers believe that students graduating from the Wisconsin public K-12 education system are unprepared for the workforce.”
