MADISON – According to the state’s Chief Economist, Wisconsin’s economic performance is the best it has been in 15 years. John Koskinen says the unemployment rate is approaching an all-time low, the labor force participation rate is one of the top in the country and the state’s economic growth rate ranks 13th in the nation. Clearly, the policies implemented over the past six years have helped spur Wisconsin’s economic comeback, squashing dire predictions that Act 10, right-to-work and other reforms would be a drag on the state.
