WMC Submits Testimony on Migrant Labor and Seasonal Workers

WMC’s Senior Director of Workforce, Education and Employment Policy Rachel Ver Velde submitted testimony to the members of the Senate Committee on Labor, Regulatory Reform, Veterans & Military Affairs and the Assembly Committee on Workforce Development & Economic Opportunities regarding proposed changes to DWD 301. WMC has concerns with two provisions of the proposed rule change: the duplication of standards for the heat illness prevention plan and the lack of grandfathering provision for the changes to the plumbing code.
