WMC’s Senior Director of Workforce, Education and Employment Policy Rachel Ver Velde submitted testimony to the members of the Senate Committee on Labor, Regulatory Reform, Veterans & Military Affairs and the Assembly Committee on Workforce Development & Economic Opportunities regarding proposed changes to DWD 301. WMC has concerns with two provisions of the proposed rule change: the duplication of standards for the heat illness prevention plan and the lack of grandfathering provision for the changes to the plumbing code.
