WMC submitted comments to the Department of Natural Resources (DNR) raising concerns about proposed rulemaking that could impact exemptions for structures on waterways. In the scope statement (SS 048-22), the DNR notes that it intends to impose “reasonable” restrictions on the construction of piers, wharves, and culverts.
