WMC supports the passage of Senate Bill 448 and Assembly Bill 587, relating to income and franchise tax credits to employers who offer apprenticeships. WMC believes apprenticeship opportunities can be a significant component in our efforts to create a skilled workforce. The Senate Bill received a public hearing on February 22 and the Assembly Bill received a public hearing March 1.
