MADISON— During Manufacturing Month, Wisconsin Manufacturers & Commerce (WMC) released a new video celebrating 250 years of American freedom and recognizing the generations of Wisconsin manufacturers whose ingenuity, hard work, and determination have helped build both the state’s economy and the nation’s prosperity.
Titled “250 Years of Freedom. Generations of Builders.“, the video highlights the vital role manufacturing has played throughout American history and the unique contributions Wisconsin businesses and workers have made to that legacy.
“For generations, Wisconsin has been defined by those who build,” says the narrator. “From mining and logging to papermaking, shipbuilding, metalworking, and advanced manufacturing, generation after generation has transformed ideas and determination into the products that improve our way of life and move America forward.”
Manufacturing remains a cornerstone of Wisconsin’s economy, supporting hundreds of thousands of jobs and producing world-class products that are shipped across the globe. During Manufacturing Month, WMC is proud to recognize the industry’s enduring impact and the people whose talent and dedication keep Wisconsin manufacturing strong.
