Adam Jordahl, WMC Director of Environmental & Energy Policy, testifiedbefore the Senate Committee on Natural Resources, Veteran and Military Affairs, at a hearing focused on PFAS in Wisconsin. WMC’s testimony provided information and recommendations from the perspective of the business community on Senate Bill 128, a comprehensive, compromise proposal that seeks to address PFAS in the environment while balancing the concerns of many different stakeholders. In particular, WMC focused on state funding and programs that would be implemented under the bill, the need to protect innocent landowners from overzealous regulators, and abusive lawsuits by the state against manufacturers under dubious legal theories.
