WMC and other stakeholders submitted comments to the DNR raising questions about a pending rulemaking (SS 021-22) for groundwater standards for bacteria. In its comments, WMC sought to clarify that the DNR was not seeking to expand the scope of the rule to include other substances such as PFAS or TCE. During a hearing last week, the DNR did state on the record that the scope of the rule will not be expanded to include other substances.
