Coolest Thing Made in Wisconsin Contest
Harley-Davidson’s Milwaukee-Eight Engine Wins!
In the voting battle between bikes, brats, and boats, the bikes were victorious!
Members of the H-D team who designed, built, and tested the Milwaukee-Eight Engine were in attendance at the State of Wisconsin Business Event on October 18 in Madison.
They even road up in style to the event from their Menomonee Falls Powertrain Plant on their personal Harley-Davidson motorcycles!
Congratulations to our three finalists!
Thanks to everyone who helped submit 20,000 votes! Among more than 200 nominations, more than 30 “things” each received hundreds of votes, every product received a vote and in a close contest the finalists weren’t solidified until the last day of voting.
Our finalists are:
- Motorcycles, Harley-Davidson, Inc., Milwaukee
- Brats, Johnsonville Sausage, LLC, Sheboygan Falls
- Littoral combat ship, Fincantieri Marinette Marine, Marinette
