MADISON – Wisconsin Manufacturers & Commerce (WMC) announced on Wednesday that Kay Kertz has been promoted to Senior Vice President of Finance & Human Resources.
Kertz joined WMC in 1991 as an accountant and held numerous accounting and human resources roles before being promoted to Vice President in 2020. For the last 20 years, she has managed the daily operations of WMC’s finance department.
“Kay has been an incredible asset to the WMC team for years,” said WMC President & CEO Kurt Bauer. “Her passion, professionalism, and dedication to our members truly stand out.”
In addition to her leadership role and overseeing WMC’s financial operations, Kertz has played a key role in guiding the organization through its upcoming headquarters relocation.
Kertz earned her bachelor’s degree in accounting. She is a Madison native, lives in Sun Prairie with her husband, and has two adult children.
