Congress is working to finalize China competition legislation and manufacturing and business leaders from across the country are urging Congress to include the SHOP SAFE ACT and the INFORM CONSUMERS ACT in this legislative package. These bills would enact strong counterfeiting measures that are critically needed to protect our families, strengthen America’s competitiveness, and hold bad actors accountable. These bipartisan bills are innovative tools that can be used to reverse the rising tide of counterfeit products, while supporting a fair online marketplace for manufacturers to protect their brands and strengthen their competitive edge.
