What We’re Hearing

Waukesha Metal Products was the winner of the National Association of Manufacturers Manufacturing Day Video Contest

“Wisconsin Manufacturing Month is our opportunity to leverage this country wide celebration of manufacturing with our community. We bring local school tour groups through our facilities and provide career exploration in manufacturing and instill awareness of what it takes to “make” things we use every day. This is a highlight of our efforts to build a manufacturing talent pipeline in our youth!”  ~ Jeffrey Clark, President/CEO, Waukesha® Metal Products

“When we decided to host our first Manufacturing Day event last year, we did not anticipate the great response we would have from both students and teachers. We had a little over 120 students tour the facility to learn more about manufacturing and the opportunities available to them. Like so many other manufacturers, TLX Technologies has experienced first-hand the challenge in finding qualified candidates for available positions. We felt it was important for the future of manufacturing as well as the health of our own company to do what we can to help support this initiative. TLX Technologies is privileged to have this opportunity to help change the face of manufacturing for the next generation.”   ~ Neil Karolek, President, TLX Technologies, LLC
