The Wisconsin Business World Program is an education program designed to teach high school juniors going into their senior year the values of entrepreneurship, financial literacy, career planning, and the free-market economic system.
Summer Program Overview
Business World is a four-day, three-night education program that brings high school students and business professionals together on a college campus to learn the values of the free-market economic system, what it takes to run a business, and Wisconsin’s rich history as a incubator for entrepreneurship and enterprise.
The Wisconsin Business World Program was established in 1982. For thirty-five years, we have held academic overnight summer programs on college campuses across the state designed to take an in-depth look at various aspects of business from competition, to ethics, to marketing, to research and development. Students are thrust into the driver’s seat of a hypothetical company that they, along with their classmates, navigate through a series of real-world obstacles. Business leaders from across Wisconsin advise and mentor the students while they tackle each challenge that is thrown in their path. As a result, participants gain a greater appreciation for what it takes to run business, but more importantly, they will understand the critical role Wisconsin has played and continues to play in the global economy.
Join us this year at St. Norbert College (June 18 – 21) in De Pere or Edgewood College (July 23 – 26) in Madison for a summer you’ll never forget!
